Koyasan

Only 2 hours away from Nankai Nanba Station located in Minami, the southern center area of Osaka, lies a religious city on a mountain top like no other in the world called “Koyasan”, which was founded in the 9th century. The poster promotion was intended to attract younger generations. Therefore, I made the graphic design colorful, poppy and kitch without an overwhelming religious feel. The posters were placed at all the stations of the Nankai line and became a conversation topic. Quite a few were stolen.
